Experience Massage in
Water in Hot Springs
Exceptional Massage Institute and Spa in Hot Springs begins offering Aquassage, a massage experience in body temperature water, beginning in May and available seasonally. EMI is one of only four massage schools across the country to teach massage therapists this technique, according to owner Brenda Midkiff. The spa is now offering this massage experience with Annie Showalter, LMT, trained by the developer of Watsu, a well known water massage therapy. "Aquassage is one of the most nurturing and deeply relaxing forms of massage and I would like more people to get to experience it" says Annie, "We are fortunate to have this available in Arkansas through EMI." Exceptional Massage, located at 330 6th Street in Hot Springs, is offering an introductory special of $75 for a session, regularly a $90-$125 value.
